The Awarding Authority already has two banks of Solar panels with a 60Kw capacity. As we have a lot of freezer & refrigeration capacity we use electricity 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. That usage is particularly high in the summer when more cooling is required to cope with summer heat. Consequently our electricity usage is particularly well suited to solar energy.
