The site features a mixture of all condition categories found within the IUCN Field Protocol. This project aims to tackle the areas defined as actively eroding hagg/gully, by carrying out hagg reprofiling. Some peat bunds where suitable, will also be created. Through these interventions, the expected outcomes are to reduce further erosion and carbon loss, encourage vegetation establishment, improve water quality and slow water flow.
