The Council has a fleet of 440 vehicles and 53 items of heavy plant within its existing in-house Integrated Transport Unit (ITU). These vehicles range from small cars and vans to 32 tonne Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) for the bulk transportation of waste.
