The National Mining Museum Scotland invites tenders for the full replacement of the elevated gantry checker plate walkway at the A-listed Lady Victoria Colliery site in Newtongrange, Midlothian. The works include removal of existing steel checker plates, inspection and treatment of supporting steelwork, and installation of new 6mm hot-dip galvanised steel checker plates in accordance with BS EN ISO 1461.
