In 2024, the HSE piloted a new alcohol extended brief intervention service – SAOR( Screening and Brief Intervention for Alcohol) EBI - in North Dublin. A process evaluation was conducted and finalised in Q4 2024. SAOR EBI is an evolution of the SAOR Screening and Brief Intervention for Alcohol Initiative.
