The Celtic Interconnector is a joint venture between EirGrid/SONI and its French counterpart, Réseau de Transport d’Électricité (RTE) in France, to develop a means of transporting electricity between Ireland and Central Europe and recoupling the SEM with Europe’s Internal Energy Market.
