The Kilmacrennan Road scheme is proposed along the R-229-1 Kilmacrennan Road from the Hospital Roundabout to Knocknamona Roundabout. The scheme generally proposes narrowing of the existing carriageway to 3.25m lanes and the removal of right-turn lanes to facilitate active travel facilities.
